I’m Stephen Hood, the proud owner of Stonehaven Roofing.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I grew up in the brutal flat plains of Oklahoma, where two-inch hail and tornadoes were a common occurrence each year. Therefore, I felt it was my calling to become a roofer and be of great value to my community.

Consequently, after a catastrophic tornado hit the small town of Moore in 2013, I, along with my team, empowered residents to rebuild their homes from the bottom up. The experience was humbling and fostered my passion for helping people after a crisis. 

Three years later, a couple of intense storms and hurricanes hit central Florida, which inspired me to move to the sunny state to assist families in restoring their homes.

Eventually, I met my wife, and after our beautiful daughter was born, I decided to make Florida my forever home.

I’ve now been working in the storm restoration business for over twelve years. Through my experience in this industry, I have acquired the skills and knowledge to render customers with the best solutions to their roofing needs.

Consequently, I work with integrity, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is my dependability, dedication, and self-motivation. I’ve integrated these core values into every system which directly touches employees, contractors, and clients.

I also attribute my success to building a company culture of doing the right thing at all costs, as I genuinely care about my clients and make customer service my highest priority.

Along the way, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful people and learned so much, which is rewarding.

When I’m not on top of a roof, fitting shingles and tiles, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, whether it’s at the beach, fishing, gardening, or cooking burgers by the pool.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
